The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” – 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe in the Trinity – one God in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” – Matthew 28:19
We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ, that He is fully God and fully man.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” – John 1:1, 14
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe in the priesthood of all believers.
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus” – 1 Timothy 2:5
We believe in the autonomy of the local church.
“It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate…Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this?” – 1 Corinthians 5:1, 2
We believe in the two ordinances of the church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” – Mark 16:16
“For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread…” – 1 Corinthians 11:23
We affirm the reality of heaven and hell.
“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” – Matthew 25:46
We believe in the Second Coming of Christ.
“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” – Acts 1:11
